Our Story

 

I'm Edwin and this is Fin, and in May of 2022, I embarked on a life-changing journey when I adopted Fin, a rescue dog from Korea.  Fin and I quickly discovered our shared love for outdoor adventures however, this was cut short when Fin began to have chronic allergies. This prompted me to dive deep into research and veterinary consultations to find a solution.

To minimize Fin's exposure to allergens, I tried everything imaginable, from daily vacuuming to trying every diet imaginable and even washing his collars and leashes almost every other day. The frequent washing of Fin's collar and leash led to wear and tear, making it both time-consuming and inconvenient to wait for them to dry or purchase replacements.

That's when the idea struck: why not create our own collar and leash using a durable, waterproof, and odor-resistant material? Thus, Jindo and Co was born. Our collars and leashes are hand-made with Biothane, a material that is easy to clean and hassle-free.

Since then, we've dedicated ourselves to perfecting our designs and materials to create products that enhance the lives of both pets and their owners.
